In case you haven't noticed a lot of people are trying to lose weight/avoid gaining weight/or simply complain about how much weight they have gained and not do anything about it. I'm not sure where I fall in that spectrum because I am just getting started but I have high hopes to be a member of the first class. Those losing weight!
Okay, can I make a confession to you all. I just took my measurements (yes, with a tape measure) in order to see how I measured up to my first goal... and I was met with a shocking revelation. You know that pouch of belly fat that all of us women are prone to getting (at some point in our lives). Well. Gulp. Mine has grown to be FIVE inches! My waist is FIVE inches smaller than that belly bulge that is hanging out on the front of me. This is just no good at all.
In order to get rid of this extra five (to say nothing of what I have lurking elsewhere) I am really going to have to stick to my diet plan. This is a super fun plan because I want to be jolly all the way back into normally sized jeans (or honestly anything that doesn't have a stretchy waist would be a good step).
I'm actually looking forward to this. Nervous. Yes. Because I have a lot to lose. If you look at the statistics on the left of this page you'll see that I have 40 pounds to lose. I know I can do it but I will have to be dedicated and just keep going. This is where you all come in. I need your help. Will you support me and cheer me on along the way? If so... I'll do my part and keep you updated on how things are going. I just know you'll all be wonderful, so thanks already!
